AMSEAS internships allow college students to gain valuable hands-on experience in stranding response, conservation, education, and research.

Dates

Fall Semester
Apply by July 1
You will be notified by end of July

Spring Semester
Apply by October 1
You will be notified by end of October

Summer Semester
Apply by February 1
You will be notified by end of February


Duration

We ask for a minimum 10-week commitment and a minimum of 100 hours.


Eligibility

An internship applicant must be enrolled in an accredited university or college program at the undergraduate or graduate level. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. High school students are considered on a case-by-case basis.


Accommodations

Applicants are responsible for their own lodging and transportation.

Application

To be considered, applicants must complete and submit the application form, a one-page cover letter, a resume, and three letters of recommendation.
